The workflows we need to collect information on an event, even to add an event to our calendar, are triggered when a payment is mad to a new invoice.
On occasion, we have clients that cannot make an immediate payment, maybe they have a net30, will pay day-of, have submitted to payroll for a bank transfer, is mailing a check, etc. Whatever the reason, we still need to get their account going so we know to add it to our calendar and to start planning it. To do this, a payment MUST be entered. We can “trick” the system by entering a payment of $0.00 to their invoice, thus satisfying the need for a payment and triggering the workflows.
