Host Lvl3

  • General Description: A Host Lvl 3 is reserved for the Smash Booth team members who take the initiative to truly become part of the “team”. This includes showing ambition to learn about multiple services, can aid in on-site training of new staff, helping to cover shifts when needed, participating in team activities when available, excelling in client reviews, and other characteristics which display a desire to push Smash Booth to grow to the next level.
  • Qualification
    • Minimum Number of Events Hosted: 50
    • Equipment Transport: Required. Hosts MUST be willing and able to transport event equipment to and from the Smash Booth warehouse in their personal vehicles. Ability to drive vehicles provided by Smash Booth, such as Uhauls or other rentals when applicable.
    • Set Up: Required. Hosts must be adequately trained to set up their scheduled equipment.
    • Availability Requirements: 5-10 Events Monthly
    • Equipment Knowledge
      • EK.Learning: Any remaining services and new services as they arise.
      • EK.General: Ring Light + Printing, 360, Bus Installation, Vogue, and any additional semi-regular services.
      • EK.Proficient: Audio Guestbook, Roamer, Pro Kiosk, M.Pro Kiosk, Ring Light.
      • EK.Master: N/A
    • Conduct & Expectation Representation: Thorough Understanding and setting an example to other team members.
    • Troubleshooting: The ability work through many issues without aid, based on experience and an understanding of the equipment and software, or through use the Team Knowledge Base to resolve any listed issues.
      Minimal need to communicate with Smash Booth Support, but the ability to reach out when needed to address more complicated issues or questions and have a comprehensive understanding of equipment, software and our computer systems to work through all issues with their guidance.
    • Reliability: Paramount. Missed or late arrivals without urgent and unavoidable circumstances may result in a Host Lvl adjustment, or termination, with consideration of the total number of events hosted without issues previously.
  • Status
    • Scheduling Priority: High. Once Host Lvl2 are assigned 3-4 events each (as their schedule permits), Lvl 3 Hosts will take priority to all additional available shifts before providing them to lower Host Lvls.
    • Travel Priority: High priority, second only to any Leads.
    • Session Bonus: Available, $0.30
    • CMB Bonus: Available
    • Double Bonus: Available
    • Drop Off Shifts: Available (Shift minimums do NOT apply).
    • On Call Shifts: Available, 1st priority.
    • Review Bonus: Available
    • Tax Status: W2
  • Compensations
    • Shift Minimum: $200
    • Hourly Breakdown: $25
  • Notice
    • Positions are NOT automatic based on longevity or seniority.
    • Team members are evaluated twice yearly to determine their position based on the qualifications listed above.
    • Positions Lvls can be adjusted up or down based on the hosts changing qualifications.
    • Positions can be reduced immediately if a host becomes unwilling, disinterested or unable, to perform the duties of their current Lvl.
