What is a Light Painting Photo Booth?
It’s an immersive photo experience where our hosts use handheld lights to “paint” in the air during a long-exposure photo. The result is a one-of-a-kind image that blends motion, light, and personality.
Is Light Painting messy?
Not at all. We’re only painting figuratively with light, no real paint, no mess.
How much space is needed?
We like to use about 15ft by 10ft to give us plenty of room to move around and paint.
How does the Light Painting Photo Booth work?
Guests enter a darkened booth space and strike a pose as we use LED wands or light tools to draw patterns, shapes, or messages in the air. A long-exposure camera captures both their pose and the artwork in a single stunning photo.
Do you need a dark area?
Yes. Because this effect takes advantage of long exposure, light painting needs to be done in a darker area. If a dark area is not available, an EZ Up or other tent may be needed.
Can we choose the color scheme to match our brand or event?
For sure! We can incorporate a specific color palette to better match your event.
Can we add our name or logo to the print?
Absolutely. Everything we do is designed with customer personalization at the forefront.

Deliverable Output
Digital photo personalized with your logo, tagline or other graphics, each with unique light painting designs. Optional printing upgrade is available in 4X6, 5X7 or other sizes, as well as styles such as metallic, pearl white, translucent and more.
Power Requirements
Access within 15’ to a single, dedicated, standard 8-amp outlet. Generators or battery packs are available for an additional fee if access is not possible.

Recommended: 12’ x 12’ x 12’
Setup & Removal Time Requirements
Setup Time: 90–120 minutes
Strike Time: 45–60 minutes
Internet Requirements
Required for digital sharing. If unavailable, outputs will be queued and delivered once access is restored.
Guest Flow & Throughput
With a consistent line, we average 40 sessions per hour.
Special Notes
Light Painting requires a very dark space and will need 10×10 EZup to create a dark room if needed.
