How personalized are the comic covers?
Every guest helps shape their final cover by selecting a character type, world, and art style before their photo is taken.
With over 500 combinations, those choices influence the overall look and tone of the artwork, creating results that feel far more personal and varied than a standard themed photo experience.
Are the comic covers printed on site?
Yes.
Covers are printed live during the event so guests leave with a physical collectible in hand. The finished pieces are designed to feel polished and display-worthy, closer to convention merch or a commemorative keepsake than a traditional event print.
Can the experience be branded for our event or campaign?
Absolutely. Cover layouts, color palettes, title treatments, splash screens, digital delivery pages, and back cover designs can all be customized to align with the event, brand, or activation theme.
The goal is for the experience to feel integrated into the event rather than simply placed inside it.
Are these real comic books?
Not quite, but that’s part of the fun!
Faux Comic Covers are designed to look and feel like authentic collectible comic covers, complete with custom titles, stylized artwork, and printed finishes, but they’re created as personalized keepsakes for the event. Think convention exclusive rather than bookstore shelf release.
Can the comic worlds and art styles be customized for our event?
Absolutely!
While guests can choose from curated character types, worlds, and art styles, the experience can also be tailored heavily around a specific brand, campaign, or theme.
Whether that means an upside-down supernatural world, a quirky office setting, a futuristic moon colony, a tropical water park universe, or a fully branded visual style inspired by Family Guy, cinematic animation styles like Pixar, or abstract comic art, the creative direction is highly flexible and built around the experience you want guests to step into.

Deliverable Output
Guests receive a premium 6×9 comic cover takeaway featuring a full 6×8 faux comic cover print paired with a customizable 1-inch branded banner.
The reverse side is fully customizable and can include sponsor messaging, event graphics, ads, QR codes, schedules, social prompts, or additional branded content.
Space Requirements
The setup is intentionally flexible and can scale to match the event environment. A minimal footprint can be as compact as a small 4-foot table setup, while larger immersive configurations with scenic elements and upgraded environments can expand into a full faux comic store activation space.
Power Requirements
The assembly station of the Mini Faux Album Cover Photo Booth needs access to a standard 110v outlet. Depending on the setup (traditional or roaming) the kiosk may need access to an outlet as well. We’ll confirm exact needs based on your event layout to ensure a smooth setup.
Internet Requirements
Because the experience utilizes live AI processing and digital delivery, a reliable internet connection is important for consistent performance. We recommend a minimum dedicated connection of approximately 20 Mbps upload and download speeds
Setup & Removal Time Requirements
Most standard setups require approximately 90 to 120 minutes for setup and testing before guests arrive. Strike time is typically completed within 30 to 45 minutes depending on the final booth configuration and venue access conditions.
Guest Flow & Throughput
Standard configurations comfortably accommodate approximately 50 to 60 guests per hour while maintaining a personalized experience. Higher throughput can be achieved with additional staff support, expanded print stations, or multiple capture setups, allowing activations to scale well beyond 100 guests per hour depending on space and event goals.
